Science and Math Tutoring

Who Is Lois Swanson

My desire to help students is more than just a job; it's a calling that defines my identity and purpose. I have diverse interests, from science to adventure. My educational journey began at Wittenberg University, followed by a Master's degree from Indiana University, which fuels my passion for lifelong learning and sharing knowledge with the next generation.

I also enjoy hands-on activities like woodworking and home remodeling, finding satisfaction in creating something beautiful from raw materials. Spending time outdoors, especially in the Smoky Mountains, rejuvenates me and inspires my photography, allowing me to capture nature's beauty.

At home, I cherish moments with my dogs, especially my playful 4.5-month-old puppy. This companionship reminds me of life’s simple joys. I believe life is a precious gift, and I strive to embrace each day with enthusiasm and gratitude, whether I'm engaging with students, working on a project, or enjoying nature.
